What is it?

The Guide to Imbibe is a drink deal passport program, currently operational in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland bars, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and more. Participating venues provide an exclusive drink discount just for our members!

How does it work?

Customers bring their Guide to your venue and redeem the deal with the venue staff directly. The venue will initial, stamp, or otherwise note the use of the deal.

Deals are redeemable one time only, during the calendar year for that specific Guide edition. Patrons are highly encouraged and expected to tip on all purchases - which we emphasize in the product and other customer communications.

When is it valid?

  • As of January 1, 2026, all Guide editions are valid for the full calendar year for which they are designated (ie. 2026 DC deals are valid Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2026).

How do I participate?
We offer standard venue sign up (free) and paid sponsorship for advertisement in the physical Guide. You can do one or both!

A venue destination is free and sign up is easily done through the form on our website — however, note that sign up does not ensure that your venue will make the final print. We prioritize the best value for our customers, and thus only the best exclusive discount offers will be printed in a given year.

A sponsorship page is a paid placement. You may design the ad however you see fit within sizing requirements, and the ad will be placed in the desired edition(s). Contact us for pricing options at sales@guidetoimbibe.com
